Donation of Rs. 90,000 to Women’s Agro Collective

A Million Butterflies donates Rs. 90,000 to the Maa Mangala Collective. They are a group of under privileged Women entrepreneurs, from the eastern state of India Odisha, who are helping each other grow, market, and trade in Millets (an ancient grain popular in Odisha). Similar to our mission, these women have created this Self Help Group that helps women trade as well as open up stores selling Millets. With our donation, the women were able to acquire a refrigerator, looms and heating elements. Below is a video of the women appreciating our work.
